Watch progress sync across multiple Jellyfin servers

I run two Jellyfin servers, one at home and one on a VPS, and keeping watch progress in sync between them is a pain. Watchstate exists but the setup is complex and it does not always handle resume points correctly. Would be great to have a simpler tool focused only on progress sync, not full library sync. Something that runs on a schedule and pushes played status and resume positions from server A to server B using the Jellyfin API.
